Mechanical Superintendent - UK

Qualifications
Basic

Education: HNC/HND in mechanical engineering with appropriate apprenticeship, engineering ticket or equivalent qualification and relevant competence. An Engineering degree will be acceptable provided it is backed by an apprenticeship or suitable practical competence.
Competence: Able to manage maintenance and projects in an offshore or seagoing position. Ability to supervise a team would be advantageous.
Training: Should have received technical training in proprietary drilling equipment, cranes and marine equipment and project planning techniques.
Personal Qualities: Professional demeanour with a neat and tidy appearance.
Commitment to Safety: Must demonstrate a strong commitment to Safety and Quality and accept that they are a line responsibility.
