Reactivation Project Manager

Role Summary

The Reactivation Project Manager will lead and manage the teams assigned to the rig reactivation project, whether Borr project personnel, third party, or rig crew.
This key role will develop, plan and oversee all aspects of the assigned rig reactivation project.
The role will report to the Technical Director (or equivalent) and will be based in the shipyard where the rig project is being undertaken.


Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher from a technical college or university, or equivalent experience
Ideally hold a formal qualification in project management
Extensive international experience in a project management/engineering/technical capacity
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification or experience
Proven ability as a Project Manager for oil & gas projects, including budgetary control of multi-million dollar projects – preferably on drilling rigs and in shipyard environments
Ability to plan and oversee budgets in line with the company strategic and long-term objectives
Ability to lead teams and liaise effectively with external parties (client, OEM, vendor, regulators etc) and internal stakeholders up and down the management chain
High levels of self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure and outside of normal working hours for long periods
Good working knowledge of equipment and systems on drilling rigs
Experience with Classification, Flag state and shelf state rules and requirements
Willingness to travel offshore and abroad as necessary, remaining on-site at the project for prolonged periods
