Internal Controls Manager

Qualifications and Experience
Qualified accountant – ACA, CPA, or equivalent certification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
Previous Big 4 experience with external audit background and strong focus on SOX
Experience with US GAAP and SEC reporting preferred
Solid understanding of SOX and internal control concepts and requirements (e.g., PCAOB, COSO, COBIT)
Proven ability to lead SOX audits
Strong written and inter-personal skills
Strong MS Excel and Word experience
Oil industry experience preferred
Strong analytical mindset
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and able to independently drive projects
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
Flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude
