H&S Advisor for Offshore Drilling Project (Australia)

Job Description

- Tertiary qualifications in safety, health, or related fields
- Minimum 10 years HSE experience of which the majority has been within the hydrocarbon processing industry.
- Experience working on MODUs, and in remote areas.
- Experience in developing bridging and interface documents as well as emergency response plans.
- Capacity to operate both independently, using initiative and self-direction, and as a team member to produce consistently high-quality work.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage a team.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and coaching skills, with effective oral and written communication to both internal and external audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.
- Working knowledge of Australian (Commonwealth, State and Territory) safety and environmental legislation (OPGGS Regulations etc.) and implementation by the relevant - - -Government agencies.
- Have good knowledge of quality and safety management principles
- Causal Analysis Investigation Training i.e. TapRoot®.
- Internal / External Auditor training.
- Report writing.
