QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Examination and assessment of evidence obtained from approved training.
Valid Crane Operators certificate.
Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as crane operator on a semi-sub.
Skills: General Rigging.
Special Requirements: Additional requirements as contained in the Vessel Training Matrix.
Innovation: Crane Operator has the authority to stop ANY activity on the grounds of immediate
safety, health and environmental hazards.
Decision Making: The Crane Operator co-ordinates with the Superintendent, Master or any other
person necessary for the safe efficient operation of the cranes.
